Mr. Bernard 'Bernie' P. Sullivan, a longtime resident of Andover and beloved husband of Joyce Brenda (Dean) Sullivan, passed away at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill on Sunday morning, September 21, 2025. He was 82 years old. Born in Southbridge, Massachusetts, on March 28, 1943, he was the beloved son of the late Daniel B. and Minna E. (Shickram) Sullivan.

Mr. Sullivan was a graduate of the Lowell Technical School. After graduation he did research and development on batteries where he held several patents. For many years he had worked as Sr. Vice President of Operations for MedChem, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company. He also helped several start-up companies with clean rooms and manufacturing processes.

In his spare time, Mr. Sullivan enjoyed traveling around the United States and visiting Cape Cod during the summer. A passionate Corvette enthusiast, he devoted time to restoring and maintaining several Corvettes. He enjoyed the challenge of restoring a corvette to originality earning him a top-flight status from NCRS. As member of NCRS, he also lent his expertise as a judge at numerous car shows. He will be dearly missed.

Besides his beloved wife, Brenda, Bernie is survived by his loving daughters and son-in-law; Hope B. and her husband Kevin A. Beaudet of Danville, New Hampshire and Holly B. Sullivan of Exeter, New Hampshire, sister and brother-in-law; Dana and her husband James Shea of Westfield, and grandsons; Logan D and Derek M Beaudet, and several other family members.

Calling hours will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 4 to 7 PM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend.
