Bernard Wiggins Obituary

WEST ALEXANDRIA — Bernard W. "Bernie" Wiggins Jr., 81 of West Alexandria, died on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2024, at Kettering Hospital in Dayton.

Born on Nov. 16, 1942 in Dayton, Bernie proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1963.

He was preceded in death by his father Bernard W. Wiggins Sr.; mother Elizabeth "Betty" (Good) Miller; stepmother Virginia "Jenny" Wiggins; son David Bernard Wiggins; sister Cindy (Wiggins) Hayes, stepbrother Jim Miller, and stepsister Marilyn (Miller) Coon.

He is survived by wife of 36 years, Darlene Cambron-Wiggins of West Alexandria; son and daughter-in-law Floyd "Eddie" and Michelle Wiggins of Clio, Michigan; half-sister and her spouse Carol (Miller) and Ed Mosher of Wyoming; grandkids Kyle Wiggins and Kayla Wiggins; special friends Sheila and Diane Wiggins; Pinkerton Clan — Sherry, Tina, Eva, and Leesa all of Michigan.

Special thanks to Ronnie Mobley and Randy O'Dell both of Ohio; his faithful companions Shorty, Angel, Lightning, and Tikki.

No services will be held at this time to honor Bernie's request. Arrangements entrusted to Barnes Funeral Home, 411 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg.
