Bernice Marie Harding, age 89 of Addison, Alabama passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born December 11, 1934 to Enis and Avie Glover. Bernice was known as "Granny" to everyone around her. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family. Bernice was a loving, kind, caring and hard-working person. She loved to garden and to cook for her family.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, Alabama from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m., where service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Sardis Baptist Church No. 2 Cemetery. Brother Tim Box will officiate. Pallbearers will be Willie Holt, Waylon Holt, Briley Holt, Vince McBrayer, Caleb Roberson, and Mason Roberson.
Bernice is survived by her daughters, Gayla Terry and Donna (Tim) Smith; brother, James (Vivian) Chesley; brother-in-law, JW Chaffin; seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Enis and Avie Glover; husband, William "Bud" Harding; brother, Wesley (Bernice) Glover; and sisters, Pauline Burks and Barbara Chaffin.
