Bernice A. Morr, 88, of Ashland, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the Laurels of New London.
Bernice was born on December 10, 1936, in Ashland to Clare and Ida {Morr} Swineford.
She married Dwight Morr on October 5, 1958, they were married for over 66 years. He survives.
Bernice worked at Cresco as a seamstress. After the birth of her children, she dedicated her life to raising her children as a homemaker. Bernice had been a member of Trinity Country Church and was currently a member of Nankin Community Church where she was active with the Rebecca Circle. She enjoyed sewing and making clothing for the family. Bernice bowled in the Wednesday Morning Trio at Luray Lanes. She was the family beautician for over 50 years for her siblings, children, husband, and grandchildren. She and Dwight loved to travel and were snowbirds for over 21 years.
In addition to her husband, Dwight, Bernice will be deeply missed by her children Ron (Jeannie Albright) Morr of Massillon, Sherry (Jeff) Kidd of Ashland; grandchildren Darren Kidd of Orlando, FL and Bryan (Samantha) Kidd of Ashland; great-grandchildren Olivia and Payton Kidd; siblings William Swineford of Fairfield, Joan Allen of Jeromesville.
Bernice was preceded in death by her brothers James, Homer, and Ralph Swineford and sisters Mary Rhoads and Maxine Burns.
Friends may visit Wednesday, August 6 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel. Services will follow at 11 with Pastor Jared Smeltzer officiating. Burial will be at Ashland County Memorial Park. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
