Bernice Palmer Obituary
She was born on March 16, 1932, in Phil Campbell, Alabama, to Andrew and Mandy Kizzie (Clark) Raper. On June 5, 1958, she married Uple Palmer in Madison Center. They shared over 67 wonderful years of marriage.
Bernice found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved working outdoors and took great pride in her garden. Her home was always surrounded by vibrant flowerpots, and she especially enjoyed canning the fruits and vegetables she grew. Above all, Bernice cherished time spent with family during gatherings that brought everyone together.
In addition to her husband, Uple, she is survived by a son, Nathan (Jeanette) Palmer; a granddaughter, Carrie; and a great grandson, Ethan. She was preceded in death by her parents, six sisters, and two brothers.
Visitation for family will be held at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Adrian on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian.
