Berniece "Hall" Westfall

Berniece Hall Westfall, age 91, of Ivel, KY widow of Thomas Luther Westfall, died Monday, February 2, 2026 at her residence. She was born November 15, 1934 in Printer, KY a daughter of the Ervin Hall and Lakie Frances Hamilton Hall Stephens, but she was raised by her loving grandparents, George and Rosa Hamilton. Berniece was a member of the First Baptist Church, Pikeville, KY, a retired Real Estate Agent and Bookkeeper, and member of the Gideons International Auxillary.

She is survived by one son, Mark (Peggy) Westfall, Harold, KY, one daughter; Mary Lynn (Tim) Holbrook, Banner, KY, one sister; Barbara Parsons, Eastern, KY, one daughter-in-law; Shelia Westfall, seven grandchildren; Andrea Steele Westfall, Thomas L. Westfall III, Benjamin Eric Westfall, Victor Timothy Holbrook, Sarah Ellen Westfall, Alexander Ethan Holbrook, Steven Christopher Westfall, and nine great grandchildren; Sadie King, Clara King, Emma King, James King, Miles Westfall, Micah Westfall, Maggie Westfall, Grant Holbrook and Hadleigh Holbrook.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one son; Thomas Westfall, one brother; Delbert Stephens ,and four sisters; Bossie Hall, Bonnie Stephens, Betty Humble and Peggy Bentley.

Funeral service for Berniece Hall Westfall will be conducted Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 3 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Paul Badgett officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY. Visitation is Thursday from 6 until 10 PM and Friday from 10 AM until 10 PM at Hall Funeral Home.
