Bert Warren Boeve

Funeral services for Mr. Bert Warren Boeve, 80 of Greenville, MS, who passed on March 5th, 2026, peacefully at home with his family, will be held on March 11th, 2026, at Restoration Church at 4 PM. Visitation will be at Restoration church at 3 PM. Jae Smith will be officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens of Leland, MS. Pallbearers will be Tyler Williford, Peyton McPherson, Luke McPherson, Wayne Brasier, Ray Millwood, and Bevin Scarborough.
Warren "Duke" Boeve was born to Gertrude Winifred Boeve and Bert Boeve in Luverne, Minnesota, on August 4th, 1945. Warren was an active member of his church, where he served as an offering usher, a Gideon, and a board member, and was a member of the United States Junior Chamber. He was also a former Washington County Sheriff's Posse President and served for six years in the United States Navy. Due to Warren's love of horses, he was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and spent his time riding and taking care of horses. He loved working on his farm in Minnesota and spending time with his family. His career included working for All Star Automotive Group, Oaks, and Ceranti for up to 20 years, and serving his Greenville community by driving for many charity events.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Gertrude Boeve. He is survived by his devoted wife, Rita Boeve of Greenville, as well as his three children: Kimberly Davis (Bruce) of Greenville, MS, Yvette McPherson (Russ) of Leland, MS, and Tara Lewis (Jeremy) of Cypress, Texas. Along with his two siblings: Celia Allen (Rory) of Harrison, Arkansas, and Evelyn Sandstede (Don) of Queen Creek, Arizona.
He is also survived by six grandchildren: Tyler Williford (Laura Baker), Kelsey Davis-Kent (Cannon), Peyton McPherson, Luke McPherson, Gabrielle Lewis, and Savannah Lewis, and two great-grandchildren: Ada and Arlo Williford, and several nieces and nephews.
