Bertha Mae Baker

Bertha Mae French Baker, 89, of Carlisle, KY, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Harrison Nursing and Rehab in Cynthiana, KY. She was born in Robertson County on April 16, 1936, to the late Claude and Clova Mae Burns French. Besides her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Baker; a brother, Claude French Jr.; and a great granddaughter, Haley Madison Townsend.

Bertha is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Mae Baker; three grandchildren, Chris (Pam) Townsend, Michelle Townsend, Victoria (Camedon Johnson) Townsend; six great grandchildren, Jaylen Johnson, Renaye Johnson, Blakely Marshall, Minnie Townsend, Clayton Herrington, Lucas Herrington; and a special friend, Thelma Moore, to whom the family would like to extend all of their appreciation for all she has done.

Bertha loved going to church and helping others. She was a good cook and enjoyed baking. Bertha also loved her flowers.

A funeral service for Bertha will be held Monday, November 17, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at Robertson County Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Bro.
