Carrie E. Baker

Carrie Baker, 53, born in Cincinnati, survived by her mother, Beverly Baker and preceded in death by her father, Daniel Baker Sr.
Carrie was a devoted mother to her daughters Miranda (Brandon), Mariah, Aubree and her late son Solomon. Carrie was a grandmother to Will, Ziniyah, Braylen and Riahlyn with whom she cherished dearly. Carrie's siblings included Cammie (Gary), Danny (Lisa), David, Amy (Brent), Amanda, Amber, Christee (Nick) and Christopher. Carrie also adored her fur baby Oakley and her grand fur babies Ricky and Roo.
Carrie passed away December 30, 2025, after a courageous battle with Leukemia facing her illness with remarkable strength, dignity, grace and unwavering determination. Carrie believed that you should never take more than you gave, and she gave a great deal to every person she knew with an easy-going kind word, a smile or a loving nod. Her levity defined her.
Earlier in her life, Carrie suffered the profound loss of her son, Solomon. That loss shaped her life in meaningful ways with how she lived, loving more deeply and extending incredible passion to others.
Carrie worked in the medical field for several years transitioning over to medical outreach, where she excelled in her career. Carrie knew no strangers. Helping, caring and listening to others is what she loved to do. She was frequently recognized by her managers for her amazing talents and her genuine ability to build rapport with others. She truly loved her career.
Carrie was a very spiritual person and loved Jesus Christ. Carrie's faith in God was a constant source of strength and comfort, guiding her with quiet grace. She is now at rest, embraced by the peace of the One she trusted.
