Edna M. Behrens

Edna Marie Behrens passed away peacefully on February 18, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family. She was a woman of quiet grace whose kindness and steady presence touched all who knew her.

Edna found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, and creating beautiful handmade items that her family will treasure for years to come. Above all else, she cherished time spent with her family. Whether gathered for holidays, special occasions, or simple everyday moments, Edna’s happiest times were those surrounded by the people she loved most.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clearance Behrens; her daughter, Pamela Sue Carlson; and her great-granddaughter, Nora Grace Weigel, daughter of her grandson Ryan Michael Weigel and his wife, Missy Weigel.

She is survived by her loving sons: Jeffrey Allen Weigel and wife Kimberly Lynn Weigel; and Steven Gregory Weigel and wife Victoria Elizabeth Weigel and a son-in-law, Kevin Carlson.  

She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Ryan Michael Weigel and wife Missy Weigel, and Derrick Ray Weigel. Her grandchildren—Evie Rose Weigel and Miles Thomas Weigel—were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Edna’s life on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Gilligan Funeral Home, located on Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45236. The visitation will be followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon.

Edna’s love, creativity, and gentle spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
