KOCH, Leonard R., passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 74. He was born on May 9, 1951, in Cincinnati, OH, the son of the late Paul Joseph Sr. and Rosemary Anna (nee Kruthaup) Koch.
Lenny is survived by his loving children Heather (Shaun) Hale and Daniel Koch. Dear brother of John (Joyce) Koch, Mary Hollister, and Joanne (the late David) Rector. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Lenny is preceded in passing by his devoted wife of 33 years Elizabeth Koch (nee Braun), along with his dear siblings Anna and Charles Koch.
Our dad was loved at his work as an electrician for the city, you knew you could count on him whatever hour it was. He was the type of man that would help a friend in need when he could.
We remember hours playing with water rockets in the park, many family zoo trips and camping trips. He instilled in us a love for reading and music. I remember hours of watching John Wayne movies and musicals with him. I also remember him and my brother reciting lines and enjoying the zany antics of Abbott & Costello movies and the Marx Brothers.
No matter what was going on in life we never lacked for love. He will be remembered for his love for his family and friends and his sense of humor.
Let me share one of his favorites with you: How do you make a tissue dance? Put a little boogie in it.
Visitation will be held on WEDNESDAY, February 25, 2026, at B.J. Meyer Sons Funeral Home, 5864 Bridgetown Road, from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorials donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at 4540 Cooper Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45242.
