Bertha Hyde Obituary

Bertha was a woman of deep faith, and love. She found joy in the simple beauty of life, especially in flowers and butterflies, which she adored. She loved her family dearly and her church family. She was a source of warmth, and grace to all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Theresa Wyman-Parker (Walter); three brothers, Randy Colbert (Ann Marie) and Bruce Colbert, and Johnny Colbert (Dee); two grandchildren, Angela Hicks (Keith) and Sydney Hyde (Courtney); and eight great-grandchildren: Amirah, Carson, Lilliana, Adeline, Abigail, Emily, Kai, and Annalise.
Bertha was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lee S. Hyde Sr.; her son, Lee S. Hyde Jr.; her grandson, Frankie ; her sister, Kay Nutter; and one brother, George Colbert Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Cornerstone Funeral Home with Pastor Toby Easily officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
