Berte was the devoted wife of the late Gerald A. Buss, celebrating 73 years of marriage before his passing in 2023. Born February 25, 1932, outside of Pittsburgh in Wall, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Bertha (Kost) Pavlochik.
Berte will be remembered as a vibrant spirit, sharing her creativity and whimsy with those she loved. Her green thumb, and love of music, color and sparkle were always evident in her creative pursuits. Her heart was always humming a tune, ready to be shared with anyone nearby. Her garden, kitchen and sewing room were playgrounds of imaginative projects and gifts to be shared with others.
Bertha is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Diane McMullen & her husband Donald of Slatington, son, Allen Buss and wife Josyln, of Allentown, 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings Helen, John, and Dolores.
Services: Arrangements have been entrusted to Cantelmi Funeral Home, Fountain Hill. Services for final repose will be held at the convenience of the family and announced at a later date. A memory tribute may be placed at www.cantelmifuneralhome.com.
