Beryl Williams Fox, 89, of Franklin, TN, formerly of West Lafayette passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at home with her family by her side.
She was born December 6, 1934, in Downey, CA to the late Howard and Ovila Williams. She was a graduate of Downey High School and continued her education at the University of Colorado, earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. On December 15, 1962, Beryl married Robert W. Fox in Lafayette. Robert preceded her in death on January 25, 2014. Beryl worked as a kindergarten teacher before she and Robert started their family. She was a proud wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker.
She was a member of Covenant Church in West Lafayette, Franklin Perennial Society, and the Mayflower Society.
Beryl enjoyed cooking, entertaining guests, planning parties and gardening. She also enjoyed attending Broadway Shows, listening to classical music, and traveling. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren's school and sporting events.
She is survived by her 2 children, David (Kathy) Fox of Franklin, TN and Lisa (Michael) Cloud of Brentwood, TN; 4 grandchildren, Allison (Ben) Hagopian of Madison, AL, Andrew Fox of Franklin, TN, Peter Cloud and Sarah Cloud of Brentwood, TN; a great-grandson, Bobby Hagopian; 2 siblings, James (Beth Anne) Williams of St. George, UT and Carolyn Keck of Boulevard, CA.
Along with her husband, Robert and her parents, Howard and Ovila Williams, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Gerald Keck.
Memorial contributions in Beryl's name may be given to the Purdue Institute for Cancer Research, 201 S. University St., West Lafayette, IN 47906 or to the Purdue Mechanical Engineering Scholarship at https://engineering.purdue.edu/ME/Giving
A private graveside will be held at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
