Bessie L. Schurmann
Bessie L. Schurmann, 80, passed away on December 11, 2023 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Bessie was born on April 02, 1943 in Dade City, Florida. She attended Pasco High School before going on to work as a substitute teacher. She married Donald Schurmann on March 18, 1965. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, FSU football, and making flower arrangements.
Bessie was preceded by her husband, Donald Schurmann on August 04, 2004 and her sister, Sara F. Messer on March 29, 2017. She is survived by her children, Connie Schurmann, LeeAnn (Sean) Scott, and Dorothy (Jay) Tucker; her grandchildren, Donnie (Ashlie) Dreyfuse, Daniel Dreyfuse, Brett (Jana) Goodwin, Brady Tucker, and Molly Tucker; and her great grandchildren, Sebastian Schurmann and Lita Hudson.
A visitation will be held at Haisley Funeral Home on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 10 AM to 11 AM with a service at 11 AM. A burial at Riverview Memorial Park will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Boys & Girls Club of St. Lucie County.
