Bessie Varner Obituary
Mrs. Bessie Lee Varner, age 77, of Pritchett, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at her home in Pritchett. Bessie was born in Houston, TX on March 13, 1942 to the late John Fred and Hattie B. Jenkins Wolters and she worked as a greeter at Wal-Mart for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Mr. William Arthur Varner.
She is survived by her son, William D. Varner; daughter, Sherry E. Varner; one granddaughter, Katy M. McBride and her husband, Jacob; and one great granddaughter, Jewel Leeann McBride.
Funeral service for Mrs. Varner will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Jackson officiating, interment to follow the service at Sunset Memorial Park in Gilmer. Family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 PM on Wednesday prior to the service.
