On May 31st, 2024, Beth Renee Buhler, age 61, passed away from the horrible disease of cancer. She was born January 22, 1963, to mother Shirley A. Slider and father Edward R. Savage in Akron Ohio. She was the youngest of four children. She was a very family-oriented person, the greatest wife a man could ever hope to be married to. She was a very friendly and easy-going person. She had one pet peeve; she didn't like being called "sweety".
She attended Stow high school in Stow Ohio. She graduated in June of 1981, and had the following degree, platinum ICAR, the highest honor one could reach in the auto body shop business. She had over thirty years of experience as a body shop estimator. She was extremely loyal to the company she was working for, very team oriented and would perform any task that was asked of her. She could just look at the damage of an automobile and tell you the amount of damage by sight. Customers loved the way she took care of them. She was employed by Ford and GMC dealers in College Station and Bryan, Texas until the horrible disease forced her not be able to perform her job. This hurt her so much she really loved being an automobile estimator.
She had a love and passion for camping in state parks with her family. She loved to travel, go fishing, hunting, sky diving, drag racing and loved to target practice. The bigger the caliber the better the recoil, which didn't bother her. She loved the outdoors.
She was married to her beloved husband David, April 12, 2014, and lived in Hearne Texas for the last ten years. She loved her two boxers, Gauge and Bella and her beagle Daisy. She also had three pet rabbits. She loved country and western classics and modern-day country. She listened to classic rock especially partial to her favorite Bob Seger; Everything stopped when he was on her radio. She was a very beautiful country girl at heart. Her best friends as a child were Lynn Cook and later in life Sandy Smith and Wayne Aulis. Her favorite foods were Mexican and steak and would rather have banana pudding and banana cake and really loved Buc-cee's gummy bears for snacks.
Renee is preceded in death by Grandmother Ica M. Powell, Grandfather Ervin R. Powell, two older brothers Jeffrey Savage, Edward Savage Jr. and Father Edward Savage Sr. She is survived by husband David Buhler, mother Shirley A. Slider, daughter Amber Swinney and Husband Kevin, their children Keira Hicks, Rhett and Landin Swinney, oldest daughter Emalie Laramore, children Madisyn Clark, Kaitlyn Clark, great grandson Cayde Athey, older brother Craig Savage, sister Marryanne Clark who will miss her very badly.
Some of her most favorite moments was the birth of her daughters Amber Swinney, granddaughter Keira, grandson Rhett Swinney, grandson Landin Swinney, oldest daughter Emalie Laramore, granddaughter Madisyn Clark, granddaughter Kaitly Clark, great grandson Cayde Athey; She loved all very, very much.
Renee had a very great outlook on life, she will be missed by all of her loved ones for the rest of their lives. She was a very great person; she will be placed to rest at Woodlawn Garden of Memories cemetery. The family lost her way too early, all her loved ones will cherish her love and knows she is watching over them all from heaven.
