Beth Coleman Edwards passed away on January 26,2026

Beth was the daughter of the late Eugene and Irene Coleman.

She was born in Marion SC on June 22, 1947.

Beth is survived by her husband of the home, Ansel Rupert Edwards, her children and her sister.

Her sister Joyce Atkins (Mike) of Monks Corner SC. Sister in law Nancy Coleman of Mullins SC.

Her children Laura McAllister of Gresham SC. Leigh McGee (Chad) of Latta SC, Robert Treadway Sr (Robin) of Gresham SC, Stephen Edwards(Mindy) Mullins SC and Jennifer Butler(Kip) Nichols SC.

She is survived by twelve grandchildren. Johnathan McAllister(Nicole), Katie McAllister(Ashley), Corey Gore (Nikki), Amanda Grover (Brandon), Robert Treadway Jr. (Rebecca), Josh McGee(Caroline), Zane Butler(Melissa), Beverly Edwards(Antonnio), Walker Holden, William Edwards, Blaiz Brindle and Krystina Watkins.

She has many great grandchildren that she loved dearly.

Wyatt Gore, Ava June Gore, John Cole McAllister, Jordan Lee McAllister, Eston Grover, Jacob Grover, Mille Grover, Owen Mcgee, Olivia Mcgee, Martin Gasque, Ashton Gasque, Bentley Treadway, Karen Treadway, Christopher Treadway, Abby Hooks, Peyton Caulder, Kason Ammons, Jaxon Ammons, Nash Gore, Zaidynn Green and Kaizynn Green. She has many beloved nieces and nephews.

Beth attended and graduated from Rains-Centenary High School. She retired from Sara Lee Hosiery after 25 years of dedicated service. She later continued her career at Carolina Hospital in Marion, from which she also retired. Following this retirement, she worked part time at the Mullins Nursing Center, where she found great joy in spending time with the residents and her coworkers, whom she loved dearly. Beth was always known for her cooking. She enjoyed cooking and sharing her recipes. At one time she shared her recipes in the Marion Journal.

She is predeceased by her sisters Brenda Turner and Teresa Martin, her brother Russell Coleman, her brother in law Donald Turner, great-grand child CJ Gore and her children's father Bobby Treadway; And her fur babies Bubba and Kadie.

Visitation and funeral service will be held at Friendship Baptist Church on January 29, 2026. Visitation will be at 3 o'clock followed by the Funeral services, burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
