East Providence - Beth C. (Cronan) Foley,67, a beacon of love and laughter, passed away peacefully on , Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Hope Hospice in Providence, Rhode Island. Born on March 14, 1958, in Smithfield, RI, Beth's life was a testament to the power of being fiercely optimistic and the warmth of a joyous spirit.

Beth was the cherished wife of Kenneth Foley, with whom she shared over four decades of unwavering partnership and love. Their marriage was a beautiful example of commitment and mutual support. She was the beloved daughter of the late Philip F. and Patricia (Wright) Cronan, a legacy of love that she carried forward in her own life.

A devoted mother, Beth's pride and joy were her children, Patrick Foley of East Providence and Courtney Malki, along with her husband Amine of Coventry. She instilled in them the values of kindness, humor, and resilience. As a sister, she shared an unbreakable bond with Richard Cronan of Matunuck, Mary C. Lane of Falmouth, MA, Paula C. McGovern of Coto De Casa, California, Carol C. Greene of Sand Point, Ohio, Ellen C. Swanson of Barrington, and Patricia C. Malloch-Brown of London, England. She was predeceased by her brother, Douglas Cronan. Beth's role as an aunt was cherished by her many nieces and nephews, who will always remember her infectious laugh and sage advice.

Beth's legacy also includes her three adored granddaughters, Kennedy, Noah, and Navy. She was a grandmother who overflowed with love and wisdom, creating unforgettable memories that her granddaughters will hold dear for a lifetime.

Beth's professional life was marked by her dedication as a Tumor Board Coordinator for Women and Infants Hospital, where she worked for over nine years. Her compassion and commitment to her work left a lasting impact on her colleagues and those she served.

A resident of East Providence since 1986, having moved from Attleboro, MA, Beth was a former parishioner of St. John's Church in Attleboro. She was also an active member of the Rumford Junior Women's Club, where she forged lasting friendships and contributed to her community.

Beth's interests were as varied as they were fulfilling. An avid reader, she could often be found engrossed in a book, always ready to share her latest find with friends. She valued time spent with her family above all, creating a home filled with laughter and love. Beth's sense of humor was legendary, as was her ability to see the bright side of any situation.

Beth's life was a portrait of a woman who was loving, funny, and optimistic. Her radiant smile and generous heart will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.
