Beth N. Hutchison

Beth, beloved wife of Bob (deceased) for nearly 60 years. Loving mother of Kim Hutchison, Leslie (Bob) Sahlfeld, and Mary Beth (Wally) Nameth. Cherished Nani of Kevin (Rebekah) Sahlfeld, Eric (Ellie) Sahlfeld, and Lauren (Max Orazen) Sahlfeld and Katherine (Bri) Nameth and Matthew Nameth. Precious Nani (great grandmother) to Charlotte and Paige Sahlfeld.

Beth passed away on October 4, 2025, her 88 th birthday. Beth devoted her life to her family and volunteering at various children's organizations. She cherished attending her children and grandchildren's sporting events, art shows and holiday concerts. She enjoyed ice skating, bowling and playing bridge with friends.

After marrying Bob in 1958, she was a legal secretary, supporting him as he earned his PhD.

She spent 40 years volunteering at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. At first, she worked directly with the children in the playroom. In later years, she acted as a guide for visitors. For eight of those years, she was also a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA Volunteer) for ProKids Cincinnati. ProKids is a nonprofit organization that trains and supports volunteers who break the cycle of child abuse and neglect. Beth was honored with the ProKids "Volunteer of the Year" award in 1991.

There will be a private graveside service for family on October 9, 2025. The family invites family and friends to a Celebration of Life for Beth on November 8, 2025, from 12:00-3:00 p.m. It will be held at Kenwood Country Club, 6501 Kenwood Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45243.
