Graveside funeral service for Judy Beth Long, 63, of Barnwell, SC will be held three o'clock p.m., Monday, October 3, 2022 at Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Gene Long officiating. The family will receive friends from five to seven p.m., on Sunday, October 2 at Folk Funeral Home, Denmark, SC; the family will also receive friends at the home of her son Allen Stanley, from three to seven p.m., on Saturday, October 1 at 495 Barnwell St., Springfield, SC 29146. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested to please make donations to Crescent Hospice, 4257 Whiskey Rd., Suite A, Aiken, SC 29803. Beth passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022.
Born in Barnwell, SC she was the daughter of the late Harry Allen Long and Mary Louise Dyches Long. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and previously worked as the manager of Neeses Flea Market. Beth was a homemaker who loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed the outdoors and gardening.
Survivors include her daughters Sharon (Erik) Dreistadt of Villa Rica, GA, Leigh Stanley, Brandi (Josh) Croft, Cindy Stanley and Lynette (Todd) Carroll all of Barnwell, SC; sons Allen (Heather) Stanley of Springfield, SC and Brian Sharpe of Barnwell, SC; brothers Herbert (Patricia) Long and Ronnie (Angie) Long all of Barnwell, Mike Long of CA, sister in law Tammy Long; grandchildren Mya, Trevor, Matthew, Brianna, Nathan, Ava, Sara, Evan, Christopher, Michael, Cody, Thomas, Taylor and Chris along with a number of great grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a sister Cathy Long; a brother Elbert Long; a grandson Noah, and a special friend Billy Sharpe.
