Bethany Machelle Lunde went home to her heavenly father on January 5, 2026. She passed away peacefully in the comfort of her father's home in
Draper, Utah.
Bethany was born May 18, 1991, in
Marietta, Georgia, at Kennestone Hospital to Debbie Pflueger. Once Debbie Pflueger and Timothy Lunde married in 1994, Bethany was lovingly adopted by Tim, marking the beginning of the Lunde family as it is known today.
Bethany was raised in a loving Christian home where her faith took root early in life. As an adult, she became a devoted follower and worshiper of Jesus Christ. She will be remembered as a woman who radiated love, joy, warmth, and kindness to everyone around her. Many will miss her goofy side and spontaneous energy. Anyone who knew Bethany could see she always looked at the positive and found the good in people and situations.
To her sisters, Bethany was like a second mother- protective, nurturing, and endlessly caring. She made sure they were always laughing, talking, and creating memories together. They fondly recall time spent playing outside and her teaching them how to make duck noises with their mouths. They knew if they ever needed someone to talk to, they could always turn to Bethany for a conversation.
As a daughter, Bethany was kind-hearted, thoughtful, and always there for others. She was an easy baby and an easy child, with a big, colorful heart that she just wanted to share with everyone. She loved Asian culture, children, and singing worship songs at church.
Bethany is survived by her grandparents: Jan Pflueger of Wisconsin; Ronald and Jennifer Lunde of South Dakota; and Barb Bradt of Colorado. She is also survived by her parents, Debbie Lunde, and Tim and Lauri Lunde of Utah; her siblings, Rebekah Shaw (Kambry), Abigail Lunde, and Anna Lunde of Utah, and Clinton Ahaise Bradt of California; and her beloved nieces and nephews: Kenai Duran Garcia Lunde, Brynlee Shaw, Novva Lunde, Ravyn Lunde, and Georgia White.
Bethany is preceded in death by her grandparents: Dave Pflueger of Wisconsin, David Bradt of Colorado, and her sister: Crystal Pflueger of Wisconsin.
Bethany is now at peace with her Lord and Savior. Her family looks forward to being reunited with her again one day.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at South Mountain Community Church, 14216 Bangerter Parkway,
