Betsy A. “Betty Lou” McLANE, 73, of Bolivar, NY, died Wednesday, December 17, 2025 in her home.
Born October 11, 1952, in York, PA, she was the daughter of Edwin and Mary Louise Albright Rowe. She worked as a waitress and in food service most of her life. Betsy was employed by The Old Library and The Castle in Olean, Dave’s Diner in Ceres, Jim Day’s Sub Shop in Bolivar, Giant in Wellsville, and as a caregiver by ARC of Allegany-Steuben in Wellsville.
Surviving are: her companion of 36 years, Chris “Perky” Perkins; two sons, Shawn (Diana) McLane of Greenfield, IA and Stacy (Crystal) Wisner of Friendship; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara (Clair “Gene”) Fry of Harrisburg, PA and Brenda Shue of York, PA; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Mikayla Perkins.
Memorials may be made to any local animal rescue organization.
