Betsy Newman Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
Betsy loved sewing, quilting, needle craft and various crafts. She was also an avid letter writer. She also enjoyed time with family and friends. She was a prayer warrior and very active in church activities and served as a volunteer with the Navajo Gospel Outreach. She travelled to minister to the Dogrib Nation in Northern Canada on numerous occasions with the Navajo Gospel Outreach.
Betsy is survived by her children, Alfred K. Newman, Jr. & Family, Marvin C. Newman & Family, Cherylin F. Newman & Family, Donovan W. Newman & Family, & Kevin T. Newman.
A Viewing will take place at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life service at 10:00am on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Maranatha Fellowship Christian Reform Church, 618 W. Arrington St., Farmington, New Mexico, with burial to follow at the MD Cemetery in Whiskey Creek, New Mexico.
Betsy Eleanore Newman's care is entrusted to Cope Memorial Kirtland Chapel, "Family First" (505) 598-9636, 458 Co Rd 6100, Kirtland, New Mexico 87417.
In Lieu of flowers, family has requested to make monetary donations to Maranatha Fellowship Church in memory of Betsy.
