Ledale Benally Obituary

Ledale was preceded in death by his parents, David and Bessie Benally, and his sister, Lorinda Means. He is survived by his sisters, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and his baby girl Gaga who will forever carry his love and laughter in their hearts.
Ledale had a way of brightening any room he walked into. Even people he didn't know felt like old friends after talking with him. He loved cooking, cleaning, detailing cars, traveling, and taking walks, but most of all, he loved making people laugh. His joyful spirit, humor, and kindness left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.
He will be remembered for his big heart, his hard work, and his ability to find laughter even on the hardest days.
A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at Kirtland-Fruitland Cemetery, Kirtland, New Mexico, with Pastor Lloyd Brown to officiate. A reception will follow at Upper Fruitland Chapter House, Fruitland, New Mexico.
