Bette Globus Goodman

Bette Globus Goodman (Sabes) age 90, of Global Pointe Senior Living, Golden Valley, passed away on October 20, 2024. Preceded in death by her beloved and unique husbands, Dr. Gordon Globus and Herschel J. Goodman; and parents, Henry "Hank" and Fritzie Sabes. Survived by children, Mark (Sabrina), Shmuel "Seth" (Simcha) and Keith Globus; brother, Bill Sabes and sister-in-law Evie Sabes; grandchildren, Gatsby, Miriam, Moshe, Sarah Lilly, Yocheved, Efraim, Yonah, Osnat, Rachel, Yisrael, and Tzipporah. Bette was a loving and wonderful mother and grandmother, a creative spirit, a noted artist and acclaimed photographer, with a presence at Traffic Zone Center for Visual Art. Bette also greatly valued her active participation in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Twin Cities program. Funeral service 11:00 AM on WEDNESDAY, October 23rd, at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 2323 Fremont Ave. S., Minneapolis. SHIVA 7:30 pm on Saturday at Global Pointe Senior Living, 5200 Wayzata Blvd., Golden Valley.
