Michael Morris

Born in Minneapolis on July 7, 1950 and passed on March 11, 2026 after a short battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Michael was the son of Joseph and Helen Morris. He grew up in Hopkins, MN, attended Hopkins schools and St Cloud State University where graduated with honors and his teaching degree. He taught in Minneapolis Public Schools and subbed at Hopkins High School. He was an inspiration to his students. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Helen Morris; and his brother, Jeffrey Charles. Survived by wife, Laura; sons, Nicholas (Erin) and Alexander; grandchildren, Jack, Mia, Emme and Ben; nieces and nephews, family and lifelong friends. Memorial service 5:00 PM on Monday, March 16th at Bet Shalom Congregation, 13613 Orchard Rd., Minnetonka, MN.
