Bette Sue Wilson

Bette Sue Wilson, 84, of Bartlesville, OK was called to her heavenly home on November 1, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family. Bette was born March 16, 1940 in Bartlesville, OK daughter of Anthony Wayne Scott and Vivian Mae (Roop) Dudink. Bette grew up in the Bartlesville area and attended Bartlesville schools.
Bette was united in marriage to Russell Wilson on July 1, 1957 at the First Christian Church of Dewey, OK. Bette and Russell established their home in Dewey, where Bette became a homemaker and Russell founded and operated Wilson Electric and Lighting of Bartlesville. Bette was a member of the First Wesleyan Church of Bartlesville. Bette and Russell loved to travel; their favorite get-a-ways included escaping the harsh winter season in Oklahoma and retreating to the much warmer climates of Destin, FL or Galveston, TX.
Bette enjoyed making quilts, doting on her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and being active in her church. Bette's family will always remember the endless love she had for her family, her strength when dealing with adversity, and her beautiful love story with Russell.
Bette was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Russell.
She is survived by: daughters Pam Balentine and her husband Gary of Piedmont, OK, Terri Cushing and her husband Tim of Edmond, OK, and Tina Willoughby and her husband Morton of Tupelo, MS; six grandchildren: Eric Reich and his wife Kay, Brian Reich and his wife Jennifer of Mustang, OK, Tyler Cushing and his wife Alexandra of Edmond, OK, Trey Cushing and his wife Morgan of Edmond, OK, Tessa Willoughby and her husband John Quiles of Baltimore, MD, and Peyton Willoughby and her fiancé Jejo Mathew of Atlanta, GA; seven great grandchildren: Hailey, Ashley, Kylie, Jack, Adelynn, Elizabeth, and James; and a very special friend, Donna Castagno.
The family would like to thank The Journey Home for the outstanding care they have given to Bette and the entire Wilson family. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bette's name may be gifted to: The Journey Home, 900 NE Washington Blvd, Bartlesville, OK 74006. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
