Bettie Dee Caddell

Bettie Dee White Caddell passed away peacefully on December 18, 2025, at the age of 88, at her home in Andrews, TX, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 21, 1937, in Brownwood, TX, Bettie's life was a testament to the strength and resilience of her spirit.
Bettie's journey through life was marked by her Christian faith, which guided her in all her endeavors. Her education was a source of pride, as she achieved her GED from Andrews Independent School District, demonstrating that it is never too late to embrace new challenges and opportunities for growth.
In her personal life, Bettie found her greatest joy a as a mother to her sons. She was the embodiment of a devoted mother. Her loving nature extended to her role as a sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Left to cherish her memory are her son David Baker, her sisters Clois Threadgill and Cissie Smith, her grandchildren Crystal, Nancy Diane, and Robert Lee, and the many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Bettie's love for country western music brought her joy and comfort, as did her adoration for animals of all kinds. Those who knew Bettie will remember her for the loving, kind, and thoughtful person she was.
As we bid farewell to Bettie, we find solace in knowing that she is reunited with those who predeceased her: her parents Horace Milton White and Delora Wheeler White; her son Norman Dale Baker; her brothers Thomas White and Buddy White; and her sisters Melba French and Doris Hood.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews, Texas.
