BETTY JANE ANDERSON

Betty Jane Anderson, age 75, of Belton, Missouri, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, October 31, 2025.

Services will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Heartland Family Ministries, First Baptist Church of Belton, 810 S. Cedar St. Belton, Missouri 64012. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Betty will then be laid to rest at Belton Cemetery, 710 S. Scott Ave., Belton, Missouri 64012.

Betty was born in Ashville, North Carolina on December 15, 1949 to Oscar Jerome Anderson and Evelyn Frances (Crawford) Anderson. Betty graduated from high school and briefly continued her education. For many years, she performed clerical duties for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Following that career she worked for the Raymore Rehabilitation Center, until she retired at the age of 65. In life, Betty held a strong Southern Baptist faith. For most of her life she attended services at Heartland Baptist Church in Belton where she was extremely involved with church activities, especially with the children. On two occasions she joined others from the church on trips to Isreal which were very memorable for her.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Evelyn Anderson; as well as aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her brother, Edwin J. Anderson; cousin Steven Crawford; and a lifetime of friends.
