Betty A. Baker, 93, of Godfrey, IL, formerly of Collinsville, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Saint Anthony's Health Center in Alton, IL.

She was born on June 24, 1932, in Lincoln, IL, to the late Carl and Eva (née Minder) Koch. On June 9, 1951, she married Daniel R. Baker in Augusta, GA. He preceded her in death.

Betty was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Collinsville. She had a passion for quilting and enjoyed sharing her creativity at various craft shows throughout the years.

She is survived by her two loving children: Gary (Linda) Baker of Godfrey, IL, and Connie (Michael) Golightly of Fredericktown, MO.

A memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Barry Wilson Funeral Home in Maryville, IL. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. She and her husband will be buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO.

Memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and will be received at visitation or may be mailed to Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
