Betty Rose Licciardi Barrios, age 84, of Picayune, MS passed away peacefully on Friday, August 8, 2025. Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Violet, LA, Betty was a woman of energy, resilience, and heart. For many years, she and her late husband, Clifford Barrios, owned and operated a local flea market - a business they loved and poured their spirit into together. Side by side, they welcomed customers like old friends, shared stories, hunted for treasures, and built a community around their passion. The flea market wasn't just their livelihood; it was a place where laughter and friendship were traded as easily as the goods on the tables.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Licciardi and Laurence Lambert Licciardi; her husband, Clifford Barrios; her daughter, Georgette Davis; her son, Fuzzy Licciardi; her great grandchild, Reese Landry; and her brothers, Anthony Licciardi, Salvador Licciardi and Charles Licciardi.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Penny (Mark Sr.) Wedig; 3 step-children; her 7 grandchildren, Kandi (Chris), Mark Jr., Shawn (Jennifer), Chontelle, Tony (Mary), Amanda (Jude), and Clarence III; her 10 great grandchildren, Ryan, Reese, Olivia, Stella, Karmyn, David, Brantley, Jude Jr., Anias, Christian, Mia (Isaac), and Joseph; and her numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty's warmth, humor, and unwavering determination will be remembered and celebrated by all who knew her. She lived life with a sparkle in her eye and an open heart, and her legacy will live on in the stories and memories she leaves behind.
