Betty Beck Obituary
Betty Louise Beck, 84, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on August 11, 2024, at NEA Baptist hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on January 6, 1940, in Marked Tree, Arkansas to Avery and Vera Turnbow Branch. She was a member of Neiswander Baptist Church and retired as bookkeeper of the Drainage District.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother: James Avery Branch, three sisters: Martha Williams, Ruth Ann Jones and Janie Parham.
Betty is survived by her husband of sixty-six years: Donald Beck, Sr. of Marked Tree, Arkansas, two sons: Don Beck, Jr. of Marked Tree, Arkansas and Robert Beck (Mike) of Memphis, Tennessee, one daughter: Kristi Beck Chrestman of Marion, Arkansas, two grandchildren: Bethany Beck of Memphis, Tennessee and Hayden Beck of Jonesboro, Arkansas, four brothers John Wayne Branch of Memphis, Tennessee, Michael Branch of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Billy Branch (Trish) of Haefer, Arkansas and Terry Branch (Brenda) of Tyronza, Arkansas, three sisters: Margie Malone of Marked Tree, Arkansas, Alice Cavitt of Tyronza, Arkansas and Reda Ellis (Danny) of Whitten, Arkansas, one brother in law: Larry Beck (Bobbie) of Waco, Texas and one sister in law: Joyce Wilfong of Sherwood, Arkansas, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas and a Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2024, in Marked Tree Cemetery, Marked Tree, Arkansas. Funeral procession will be leaving from the funeral home at 9:50 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, family request that donation may be made to Le Bonheur Hospital 848 Adams Ave., Memphis, Tennessee 38103.
Brother Ron Lovins will officiate the service.
Pallbearers: Hayden Beck, Brad Moore, Danny Moore, Danny Ellis, Dusty Ellis and Jim Beck. Honorary Pallbearers: Bobby Jones, Steven Jones, Teddy Cavitt, Scott Cavitt, Ben Branch, Joey Branch, Brian Branch, Todd Branch, Louis Branch, Gary Williams, David Williams, Ben Branch, Mickey Wilfong, Ricky Wilfong, Rusty Wilfong, Bobby Beck, David Branch and John Patrick Branch.
Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home/Marked Tree.
