Betty Ann Binter (née Thom) passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday Sept 15th. Betty had a full active life well into her early 90's. She and her husband, Arnold, traveled to many countries and states during their 62 years together until his death in 2008. They enjoyed going dancing She is preceded in death by her husband Arnold, Sr, sisters Marie Mueller and Eleanor Abitz, her brother Gerald Thom, her parents and grandparents. She is survived by her children, Arnold, Jr. (Olivia), Barbara (Andrew), & Joseph., 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, & nephews & brother Jack Thom.
Growing up, Betty lived in Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, & South Dakota. She & Arnold lived in Milwaukee, Pewaukee, West Allis, New Berlin, before retiring in West Bend. Betty & Arnold were avid fishermen at Big Cedar Lake.
Betty had been a resident of The Fields & Samaritan for the last 6-7 years. She was known as " the queen go one-liners". She loved to play cards! She was always upbeat & never complained. Everyone who knew her, loved her! Many thanks to her care givers at The Samaritan over the years. She will be greatly missed !
Services will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Wisconsin Memorial Park in the Family Center with entombment to follow.
