Randolph Kimbell Binter died on January 4, 2025, at the age of 75 after a yearlong battle with Merkel Cell Carcinoma.
Randy is survived by his wife Karen Blatt Binter, three daughters Ashley Scott (Brandon) Rebecca Kasubinski (Mark) and Jennifer Blake (Bryan); three granddaughters Katie Trainer, Isabelle and Madeline Scott; two grandsons Kai Blake & Gabriel Kasubinski. He is also survived by his brother Frederick Binter (Kaete) and sister, Dr. Nancy Binter, (Dr. Bela Ratkovits); two nephews Fred Binter (Abby) and Eric Binter; two great-nephews Alex and Zack Binter. Randy was pre-deceased by his parents, Frederick C and Evelyn Kimbell Binter.
Randy graduated from Appalachian State University with a BA in business administration in 1973. He joined his father 's business Independence Chemical Company (INDCO) in Gloucester City, NJ where he became Vice President of Sales and Development.
After retirement, Randy pursued hobbies and art. He created many bird houses using recycled wood and corks. He made lots of things from recycle corks, which he liked to give to friends. He painted rocks for the flowerbeds. He loved spending time at his shore house in Stone Harbor, NJ, where he sat on the front porch crafting and talking to the passing people.
Randy attended Moorestown schools through his junior year of High School. He then attended the Bordentown Military Academy, Bordentown, NJ where he graduated in the Class of 1968.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 15th at 1:30 pm at at the Lewis Funeral Home, 78 E. Main St., Moorestown, NJ.
Visitation 12:30 to 1:30
