Betty Bloomfield Obituary
Betty worked for U.S. Shoe and Bow factory in Vanceburg. She also worked for Coroplast LLC until her retirement. Betty loved gardening in her spare time. She was of the Christian faith.
Left to cherish Betty's memories is her husband J. R. Bloomfield of Garrison, Kentucky.
One daughter- Miriah (Eli) Hernandez of Fannin, Texas. Two grandchildren whom she adored and loved Elaina and Nolan Hernandez.
Sister- Cora (Ray) May of Garrison, Kentucky.
Preceded Betty in death beside her parents were sisters- Wilma Collier, and Freda Hauck. Brothers- Homer, James Donald, Ronald Thomas, Mike, David, Kenneth, Nelson, Larry, and Bud Skidmore.
Visitation will be Tuesday December 30, 2025 from 5-8 pm at the Gaydos Funeral Home 159 2nd street Vanceburg, Kentucky 41179.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday December 31, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Gaydos Funeral Home with Brother Morgan Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Skidmore cemetery in Garrison, Kentucky.
Pallbearers for Betty Bloomfield will be Joey Owens, Jimmy Skidmore, Buckie Skidmore, David Skidmore Jr., Ray May Jr., Eddie Skidmore, Kyle Moore, and Hunter Skidmore. Honorary pallbearers will be Eli, Elaina, and Nolan Hernandez.
