Betty Fay Christie, 85, of Dumas, died on Monday, December 1, 2025.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Cremation and arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, 500 N. Maddox.
Betty was born on March 18, 1940 in Dumas, Texas to Roy and Fay Harbert. She graduated from Dumas High School in 1958 and attended secretary school in Amarillo. She married Keith Christie on April 13, 1960 in Dumas. She was a homemaker and volunteered for Hospice and the gift shop at Moore County Hospital. She loved to garden and take care of all kinds of animals. She had helped rehabilitate many wounded animals back to health over the years.
She was preceded in death by parents and a sister, Patsy Hodges.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Christie of Dumas; two daughters, Debra Good and husband Terry of Blue Ridge, Ga., and Denise Meschke and Gerard of Dumas; a son, Brandon Christie and wife Tiffany of Lubbock; eight grandchildren' and one great-grandchild.
