Marilyn Kay Haley, 78, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on Monday, October 13, 2025. Born January 9, 1947 in Clovis, NM to Lawrence Holland and Mary Lewis. She was a loving mother and cherished Grandma and Nana.
Marilyn was a department manager at Wal-Mart for many years before retiring. She loved to have fun at work with Mary, Jim, and Jonas. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. She was known for her warm heart with a little onery side, and endless love for family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Bill Haley and wife Sandi, Shannon Talcott and husband Justin, her sister-friend Mary Smith, her grandchildren, Matthew Purse, Cole Talcott, Brooklynn Bowen and husband Tucker, Wyatt Haley, Kevin Haley, and great granddaughter, Stevie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, James Holland and Robert Holland, stepbrother David Lewis, sister Carolyn Cates, and her fiancé Jim Herndon.
A funeral service will be held at Boxwell Brothers Memorial Chapel, 500 N. Maddox, Dumas, TX on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Northlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dumas. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas.
