Betty Jo Christopher passed away peacefully at her home in Archie, Missouri, on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the age of 86. A private family burial will take place at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Harrisonville, MO.
Born on July 22, 1939, in Kansas City, MO, to William and Leona (Elston) Davis, Betty dedicated her life to family, friends, and her work as the owner of County Line Liquors in Archie, MO. Betty's heart was as vibrant as her smile, and she brought joy to everyone who crossed her path. She had a particular fondness for crocheting, crafting beautiful pieces that will remain as timeless memories for her loved ones. As an avid Jeopardy fan, she delighted in testing her knowledge and her quick wit and penchant for humor ensured that laughter always filled her home, and her trademark jokes became treasured family stories. Above all, Betty adored her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Dixie Baker; and her brothers: Harry Davis and John "Jack" Davis. She is survived by her son, John William McDaniel (Gayle); grandchildren: Jesse Evans, John Ryan McDaniel, Courtney Ford (Timothy), and Rachel McDaniel; great-grandchildren: Hunter Evans, Alexandra Martin, Jayda Evans, Caylee Ford, and Emma Ford; as well as, her sister, Clara "Gracie" Myler; sister-in-law, Linda Davis; and nieces and nephew: Rhonda (Ralph) Rush, Kay (Rodney) Mawson, Paula Lethco, and Danny (Lanita) Myler.
