Betty Mae Conklin (98) was born June 11, 1927 in Kemah, Texas and passed away on September 4, 2025, in her Cleveland, Texas home surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded by her husband Tom Conklin, sons Larry Edwin Wheeler, Johnny Paul Wheeler, grandson John Lortcher, great grandchild Grace, parents Thomas Jefferson Dick & Edith Hackett, and her only brother Thomas Jefferson Dick “Bubba”.
Betty Mae is survived by her stepsons Thomas Dillian Conklin, Leanard Conklin, daughters Suzanne Wheeler-Wallace & husband Allen, daughter-in-law Judy Wheeler, grandchildren Stacey Rochester, Kristy Fierro, Bowie Wheeler, Dusty Wheeler, great grandchildren Renee, John II, Madison & Cheyenne Lortcher, Sjlana, Nathan, Nicole & Alexis Rochester, Austin Wheeler, Katy Fierro, and nine great-great grandchildren.
