Betty C. Crissman, age 97, formerly of Lock Haven passed away on December 26, 2024, at Forrest Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Weatherly, Pa.
She was born on April 26, 1927, to John and Anna Tasselli and graduated from Immaculate Conception High School, Lock Haven.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Warren E., on April 9, 1993.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Theresa and her husband James Warnagiris; two grandchildren, Michael (Kathleen) Warnagiris, Amy (Frank Aponte) Warnagiris; two great-grandchildren, Megan and Justin Warnagiris; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
Three brothers, Angelo, Vito and Anthony Tasselli and one sister, Sr. Tarcisius, IHM, preceded her in death.
She was a lifelong member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and a daily attendee at Mass until the age of 91. Betty worked at the Lock Haven Catholic School cafeteria for over 25 years, retiring at the age of 75.
Betty was well known for her cooking and baking skills, which she loved to share with family, friends and neighbors.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 310 W. Water St., Lock Haven, PA 17745 on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 12 noon with Rev. Fr. Joseph Orr officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend the mass. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Lock Haven.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Moriarty Funeral Home & Crematory, 112 E. Church St., Lock Haven, PA 17745.
