Betty Jo (Greener) Culpepper, of Forest, MS, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025, at the age of 98. She was born on April 22, 1927, in Bude, MS, to Katherine and James Dudley Greener. Mrs. Culpepper was the last surviving member of the Greener family.
A devoted member of the Forest Methodist Church for over 60 years, she was also a member of the Horace Crosby Sunday School Class. Mrs. Culpepper enjoyed fishing and playing dominoes. She was part of a Domino Club that met at Carr Church. She cherished her lifelong friendships with Jo Marler and Margaret Thompson.
Mrs. Culpepper was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Culpepper; her brothers, Phil and James Greener; and her sister, Alice Joy Greener. She is survived by her two children, Kevin Culpepper and Leigh Ann Tillman, as well as her granddaughter, Katie Tillman.
