Dillon - Betty Anderson Falls, 80, passed away at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon, December 5, 2023. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, December 8, 2023, at Union Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery, Pastor Chris Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the church prior to the service. Kannaday Funeral Home in Latta is assisting the family.
Betty was born in Rowland, NC September 26, 1943, the daughter of the late Eron Thomas Anderson and Mary Jane Owens Anderson. She was the widow of the late William Falls. She retired from Perdue Maintenance Department after many years service in several departments. She was a devoted member of Union Baptist Church. Everybody loved her famous buscuits.
Survivors include sons, Johnny Ray Anderson (Connie) of Latta, SC and Dale Anderson (Danyel) of Manning, SC; daughter, Anita Carol Langston of Dillon, SC; special children, Charlie and Jean Tyndall and Van and Teresa Tyndall; brothers, Bill Anderson (Shirley) of Archdale, NC, Clifford Anderson (Helen) of Rowland, NC,and Robert Anderson (Avis) of Fairmont, NC; sisters, Carolyn Haymore of Dillon, SC and Patricia Lewis of Floyd Dale, SC; sister-in-law, Diane Anderson of Latta, SC; grandchildren, Matthew Langston, Aaron Langston (Jordan), Taylor Langston (Saskia), Genesis Anderson (Dylan), Dylan Anderson, Kody Anderson, Kayla Morrell (Chandler), and Tyler Hyatt; and great grandchildren, Gracie Langston, Lea Langston, and Ruth Langston. She was predeceased by her brothers, Jim and Russell Anderson, and twin sister Sarah Thompson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Union Baptist Church, 7231 Old Ebenezer Road, Latta, SC 29565.
