It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Betty JoAnn Giebner on March 11, 2025. She was born in Mansfield, Ohio on September 28, 1939, and moved to Florida in 1951. She enjoyed careers in real estate, with the St Petersburg Times and as President of ComTen Industries for 15 years.
JoAnn, Jody, Jody-Love is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Tom Giebner; her devoted daughters Cindy (Eddie) Sandage and Nancy (Richard) Wall; her loving stepchildren Kim Sharrow, Debbie (Tim) Roche, Peggy (Mike) Bogacki, Scott (Donna) Giebner, Chris (Tracey) Giebner; her cherished "Dear Brat", sister Marian Price; her adored niece and nephew Michelle (Joe) Liberatore and Chris (Jen) Moreno. She also leaves behind beloved grandchildren (11), great grandchildren (8), great niece and nephews and great-great nephews.
She was predeceased by her precious daughter Lisa Rae Kegley and her stepson Brett Giebner.
She loved unconditionally and was adored by her family beyond measure.
Services will be held March 18 at 11:00am. Internment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends and Family are invited to a visit and celebrate JoAnn's life following the service from 1 - 3 pm at The Rec Dec: 380 105th Terrace NE, St Petersburg, FL 33716

Sorry to hear of Joann passing. Many find memories of working for her at ComTen. Fun at employee p arties. I am sure she is now enjoying sharing stories with Linda and Sharane.
