Betty Hannon, 91, beloved Mother, Sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on July 20, 2024. She entered this world on June 9, 1933, in Broken Arrow, OK, born to Lenard L. Keele and Margaret L. Carver Keele.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2024, at Grace Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 7 :00 p.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma,445 Fairview Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.
Betty met the love of her life, Earnest G. Hannon and they were married June 6, 1951, in Claremore, OK and they made their home in Broken Arrow, OK. They moved to Collinsville and then Kaw City, finally settling in Ponca City in 1969. Betty was a nurse’s aide for several years. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren, cooking and baking, gardening and canning.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her seven children: Bonnie Hall and husband Dale of Wichita Falls, TX, Donna Wedman of Junction City, KS, Ronnie Hannon, Curtis Hannon, Tammie Anson and husband, David, Trista Garcia and husband, Daniel, and Jo-Jo Skaggs and husband Bob all of Ponca City, OK. she is also survived by her brothers; Kenneth Keele and wife Jacky of Woodward, OK, Bill Keele and wife Marilyn of Porter, OK, Bob Keele of Claremore, OK and Jack Keele and wife Erma of Broken Arrow, OK, sisters: Sue Treesh and Sharon Risenhoover both of Broken Arrow, OK, Linda and Judy, twenty-nine grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren , and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandchild, one great grandchild, two Sisters, and two brothers.
