Betty (Bell) Hausman, 98, passed away December 4, 2025. She was born March 28, 1927, in Turner, Indiana to Lawrence S. Bell & Rachel (Murray) Bell.
She graduated from Staunton High School in 1944. Betty worked at (General) Wishard Memorial Hospital from December 1959 to December 1988.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Bell, son Billy Ray Hausman, and niece Mary Bell Knust Wells.
She is survived by two grandsons Anthony (Stacy) Hausman and Troy Hausman; three step-grandsons Matthew Strehle, Jonathan Nixon, and David Quick and family; three great-grandsons Brent, Axel, and Trey Hausman, nieces Linda Gee and family, Carol Vance and family, and Nancy Schubert and family, and daughter-in-law Sharon Wallace.
Viewing will be 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon Monday, December 15, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan – Speedway at 2950 N. High School Road in Indianapolis, with funeral to begin at noon. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery in Brazil, Indiana.
