Betty K. Herald

Betty K. Herald, 98, of Lewisburg passed away on July 25, 2025 at Oak Glen Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Lewisburg. Born in Jersey Shore on June 20, 1927 she was the daughter of the late J. Donald and Mary (Afford) Klees. She was married on March 26, 1950 to Richard Herald, who preceded her in death on May 1.1985.
Betty graduated from Milton High School, and she worked in Milton for 47 years in banking before retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. John's UCC in Milton. She was also a member of Eastern Star. Betty was in a card club with her friends for many years.
She is survived by a son, Scott Herald and wife, Mandy of Williamsport; a daughter, Christine Krick and husband, Gary of Potts Grove; a sister, Nancy Martens of Mechanicsburg; three grandchildren, Liane Herald, Stephanie Wolfe and husband, Adam, and Brian Krick and wife, Ariele; and five great grandchildren, Cael Wolfe, Branson Wolfe, Maverick Wolfe, Haley Wolfe, and Nolan Krick.
Along with her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Klees: and a sister, Jane Foltz.
Services will be held privately.
