Mrs. Holliman, daughter of the late Olin Tillett and Ruth Amanda Warren Alexander, was a native and lifelong resident of the Stokes community and attended Briery Swamp Primitive Baptist Church. After graduating from Stokes-Pactolus High School, she attended business school then later worked at Pitt County Clerk of Courts office where she retired after 25 years. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. Her favorite place to be was at her home cooking big southern meals to share with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Dennis Alexander and her husband of 55 years, Felton Ray Holliman. She is survived by two sons, Andy Holliman (Gina) of Oak City, Alan Holliman (Christy) of Stokes; a daughter, Amanda Bryan (Bill) of Garner; five grandchildren, Laura Sharp (Andrew), Rebekah Gonzalez (Mauro), Will Bryan, Jenna Bryan and fiancé Richard Hinton, Gage Parrish (Rebecca); 10 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Linda Alexander.
She was blessed to have dear friends who remained faithful and supportive throughout her life. We want to give special thanks to her wonderful caregivers, Yvette and daughter Laura, Diane and Sharon. With their loving care, she was able to remain in her home until her death.
