I am correcting my memorial message. I meant BJ instead of deejay and I am just such. At the end of the day BJ was a beautiful person inside and out. May she continues to rest in eternal peace. My fellow BTW warrior. Our motto is we lead and others follow. And you have left us but eventually we will follow

I met Deejay at the Orange Mound Center and we became friends immediately. I would visit her at her house and we would just sit on her porch with some of her other friends and just shoot the breeze. She was just a social butterfly and she will surely be missed

Condolences from the Durr Family:
BJ was a special lady! She will be missed and her Hot Tamales, too! We always enjoyed her visits when she came to Atlanta. Although no words, however kind, can ease the loss you bear, may it bring comfort to know that others do care. Melba Durr
