Betty Jean Jock

A public visitation to celebrate the life of Betty Jean Jock, 60, of Oxford AL, will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 12:00 PM – 1:45 PM at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. Betty passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 19th, 2025.
Betty was the daughter of Larry and Barbara "Honey" Gann and was a graduate of Oxford High School in 1984.
Betty held multiple career paths that culminated to the co-ownership of a logistics trucking company. She was a past president and active member of Emblem Club #236 and an active Elk, "member of the year" for Elks Lodge #189. Betty headed the bingo program, raising money for local scholarships as well as various other charitable community activities. She was a beloved wife, mother, nanna, community volunteer and friend, who always loved to bring joy to others.
In her spare time, Betty enjoyed crocheting, making hand crafted jewelry, watching crime dramas, and spending time with the ones she loved.
Betty was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara "Honey" Elizabeth Gann.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, William "Bill" Jock; her son, Jacob Jock; her daughter, Amber Ketcham (Drew); her father, Larry Gann; two grandsons, Lincoln and Jaxson Ketcham; her sister, Veronica Ferguson; her stepbrother, Justin Gann; amongst countless friends and loved ones.
